Regulations for the Photography Contest
1. About the contestants and their work
– Contestants may submit up to three photographs of their own that they consider appropriate, according to the technical guidelines communicated in the point.
– Photographs must be in digital format with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi at a real size of 21 by 30 cm, maximum resolution 350 dpi with a width of 2700 pixels and a height of 3800 pixels, with a JPG extension.
– They must not have any visible watermark, signatures, dates, or personal identification.
– The file of the work will have a title as its name, and will be accompanied by a file with the following information:
– Title of the work.
– Full name of the clinician and data.
– E-mail address.
– Telephone number.
– Description of what the work shows.
– Photography can be taken directly or through equipment such as microscopes, magnifying glasses, etc
2. About the content of the photograph
– Photographs must be original and taken by the contestant. They must not contain elements that are protected by another person’s copyright or in any way subject to the proprietary rights of third parties, including privacy and publicity rights, except as described in the following paragraph. EXCEPTION: By submitting a work, the contestant affirms as an affidavit that he or she has obtained the written consent of all persons whose image or images appear in the photograph and further affirms that he or she is willing to provide reliable proof at the request of the interested party.
– In the same way, you affirm that you have obtained the necessary rights, licences, authorizations and permissions to use all the material in the photograph. Failure to comply with the above will lead to disqualification at the sole and absolute discretion of the contest organisers.
– You may not use any material with third-party copyrights, nor produce similar works. If there is any doubt or difference of opinion regarding compliance, interpretation, application, or content of these regulations, the organisers of the contest reserve the right to resolve such questions or differences of opinion at their discretion. Likewise, they must comply with the regular rules of social behaviour; The content of the entire photo submission must be appropriate to these regulations.
3. Requirements
– The works must correspond to clinical work, artistic photography, lines of research and work developed in the field of dentistry in general.
– All those people involved in the organization or management of the contest are excluded from the contest.
4. Selection of the winners
– They will assess the relevance of the content to the theme of the contest, creativity and originality, as well also technical and artistic aspects of the images.
– Finalists and winners will be announced and published on the blue®m website
