What is the blue®m Poster Contest?
The blue®m Poster Contest is a competition where dental professionals present scientific research, case studies, or other findings related to blue®m oral care products. Participants create detailed posters showcasing their work, in the 3 categories Research, Case Report or Photography. The finalists are recognized and rewarded by blue®m, offering them a platform to share their insights with a global audience of dental experts and a VIP trip to The ITI World Symposium 2027 in Milan, Italy.

Scientific research
All dental professionals or students can present their clinical research which demonstrates the use of blue®m. You must create a detailed poster showcasing your work, that includes an original scientific research which has an application to oxygen therapy with blue®m.

Photography contest
And if you want to capture a dental procedure or treatment through photography using blue®m products, you can also enter the contest. The work must correspond to clinical work, artistic photography, lines of research and work developed in the field of dentistry in general.

Which prizes to win?
6 finalists* (2 finalists per category) will be selected and invited as VIP to the blue®m booth at the The ITI World Symposium 2027 , May 2027 edition in Milan, Italy, and will present their submission there for the final judgement from the international scientific board of blue®m. There will only be 1 ultimate winner per category.

How to participate?
Each participant (individual or team) creates detailed posters showcasing their work, in the 3 categories Research, Case Report or Photography. The posters will be assessed by the international blue®m scientific board and will be judged on content, scientific value and creativity.
The poster or photograph must demonstrate one of these options:
- Original scientific research which has an application to oxygen therapy with blue®m
- A clinical case report / case series or photograph which demonstrates the use of blue®m (in any topic, there will be no separate categories)
Any dental clinician (professional or researcher) can sign up. Only 1 entry per clinician. Participating is free of costs.

After you’ve successfully been enrolled to the competition, a confirmation is sent to you by email. You’ll now be part of the group of progressive professionals and you will receive a frequent newsletter with exclusive content and tips from leading dental professionals!
How does this contest work?
The contest consists of various stages:
Stage 1: Fill in the application form on the blue®m website. A confirmation is sent to you by e-mail and you’ll receive an e-Poster template or regulations for the photography contest.
Stage 2: Submit your work before March 1, 2027 by uploading the Poster with Scientific research, Case report, or Photograph in the appropriate format to the blue®m website.
Stage 3: Assessment, rating and selection of finalists by the international scientific board of blue®m. The members of the jury will review the top submissions and select 2 finalists per category, who will be invited to come to The ITI World Symposium 2027 edition in Milan.*
Stage 4: Award ceremony at The ITI World Symposium 2027 (finalist will give an oral presentation in booth before the final decision).
Meet the judges
Minas Leventis
President of the blue®m board
Dr. Minas Leventis obtained his DDS (1999), MSc in Oral Surgery (2004), and PhD (2010) from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. He further specialized in periodontics and implantology at the University of Heidelberg, Germany, and spent over ten years as a Clinical and Research Fellow in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Dental School and Children’s Hospital of Athens.
Dr. Leventis is an internationally recognized lecturer in oral surgery and implant dentistry, having delivered courses in more than 30 countries. He has authored over 40 scientific publications and has been actively involved in experimental research at leading European institutions, focusing on bone regeneration, biomaterials, growth factors, and tissue engineering. He is a faculty member at the ICE Postgraduate Dental Institute and Hospital in Manchester, where he teaches MSc students, and collaborates with international dental and medical companies on innovative regenerative technologies.
Based in London, his clinical practice focuses on implant dentistry, oral surgery, and regenerative tissue engineering. He is a Fellow and Diplomate of the ICOI, a founding member of ICOI Hellas, a full member of the British Association of Oral Surgeons, and serves as President of the Scientific Board of blue®m.
Tatiana Miranda Deliberador

Tatiana Miranda Deliberador, DDS / MSc and PhD in Periodontics, is Professor of Latin American Institute of Dental Research and Education – ILAPEO, Curitiba/PR, Dr. Tatiana Deliberador is a PhD in Periodontology with a private practice in Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil. She is a professor at ILAPEO Dental School, actively involved in both Master’s and PhD programs, and serves as the coordinator of the Specialization Courses in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry.She is a member of the International Team for Implantology (ITI) and an international board member of BlueM. Dr. Deliberador has authored more than 150 scientific publications and is also a speaker for Neodent.
Cristian Scognamiglio
blue®m board member
Dr. Cristian Scognamiglio graduated with honors in dentistry from the University of Varese (Italy) in 2018, where his research was awarded best thesis of the year in oral surgery by the SIDP. He currently works as a clinician at the Perucchi Dental Clinic in Mendrisio (Switzerland), where he has been active in oral surgery since 2020 and became co-owner in 2026.
Dr. Scognamiglio is actively involved in clinical research in oral surgery and implantology, with publications in international journals and frequent participation as a speaker at national and international congresses. He is a Key Opinion Leader for several leading dental companies and was recognized in the “World’s Top 100 Doctors” list in 2023 and 2025.
In addition to his clinical work, he serves as a lecturer and invited professor at institutions in Italy and Brazil, including Saint Camillus University in Rome and ILAPEO College. He holds a Master’s degree in Oral Surgery and Advanced Implantology and is an ITI Speaker.
Dr. Scognamiglio is President of the Swiss Division of the Dental AI Association and a member of the blue®m Medical Board.
Alberto Miselli
blue®m board member
Dr. Alberto Miselli graduated as a DDS from the Universidad Central de Venezuela in 1980 and further advanced his training with a fellowship in oral rehabilitation at the University of Michigan, USA. He later specialized in implantology at CEYESOV in Mexico, where he was also awarded a Doctor Honoris Causa.
Throughout his career, Dr. Miselli has been actively involved in education, serving as a professor in dental implant programs and private practice management at Universidad Santa Maria in Caracas, as well as a visiting professor at several international universities, including institutions in Venezuela, Mexico, and Panama.
He is the developer of the innovative Umbrella Concept, focusing on three-dimensional soft tissue management around implants to achieve long-term aesthetic and biological stability. Dr. Miselli is a recognized national and international speaker, delivering lectures and hands-on courses in implantology and implant-supported prosthetics worldwide.
Jasper thoolen
blue®m board member
Jasper Thoolen graduated as a dentist from the Radboud University in Nijmegen (the Netherlands) in 2016. He works in his practice Oisterwijk Kliniek Tandheelkunde and his main focus is on restorative and reconstructive dentistry, digital smile design and digital workflow, orthodontics and implantology.
Jasper is a renowned international speaker on a variety of dental meetings and symposia and is connected as a trainer to several post-academic education programs. Besides his work at the dental chair, he is also an author for a variety of dental magazines and key-opinion-leader for a variety of well-respected dental companies. Jasper is one of the five founders of the online education movement Karma.Dentistry.
Hamdan Alghamdi
blue®m board member
Prof. Alghamdi graduated with a bachelor’s degree in dentistry from King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and completed his master’s degree and clinical training in periodontology and oral implantology at the same University. He has published all his PhD research in top ISI-journals in the field of biomaterials and tissue engineering related to oral implantology. His PhD-thesis was also included In 2013, his PhD-thesis was included in the Radboud University Annual Report as best representative research-project for the theme ‘Reconstructive and regenerative medicine’. He is currently still affiliated as a visiting researcher at the Department of Biomaterials and Oral Implantology in Radboud University Medical Center, Nijmegen in The Netherlands. Moreover, in 2019, he published a book in collaboration with Prof Jansen, named: “Dental Implants and Bone Grafts: Materials and Biological Issues”.
Alessandro Perucchi
blue®m board member
Dr. med. dent. Alessandro Perucchi graduated in dentistry from the University of Bern, where he obtained his doctorate in 2007. After working as an assistant in maxillofacial and oral surgery at the cantonal hospital of Lucerne, he became a certified specialist in oral surgery (SSO) in 2011. Since 2012, he has been running his own private dental and oral surgery practice in Mendrisio. Dr. Perucchi is actively involved in clinical research in implantology, prosthodontics, and digital dentistry, with publications in international peer-reviewed journals. He is a sought-after speaker at international conferences and serves as an ITI Fellow and ITI Speaker. He is also a lecturer at SUPSI and an examiner for the ITI Diploma in Implant Dentistry. Internationally, he is engaged as a lecturer and invited professor, including roles in Italy and Brazil. Since 2024, he has served as President of the Swiss Division of the Dental AI Association and is a member of the blue®m Medical Board.
