blue®m wins title 'best product of the year' for the fifth consecutive year
PRESS RELEASE – Amsterdam, December 16, 2021 – blue®m fluoride free toothpaste was elected by Dutch consumers as best product of the year. As a result the Dutch leading oral health brand has won the coveted award for the fifth consecutive year.
In this year’s Best Product of the Year voting, Dutch consumers chose blue®m healthy, fluoride free toothpaste as the best oral care product of the year. blue®m is a premium Dutch brand with a strong mission: to elevate health and well-being through oral care. The toothpaste was the first product the health company introduced to the market in 2010.
Dentist’s positive feedback even more rewarding
Winning the award does not really come as a surprise to the ambitious team. The reviews consumers leave behind at the webshop are consistently positive and often related to positive feedback received after visiting the dentist or dental hygienist. “We see a lot of our clients from the early days when we just started out still buying our products, especially this fluoride free toothpaste. For me an absolute recognition that our products work wonderfully. And of course it is great to see that our customers are so incredibly loyal. First people start buying our products after experiencing oral problems, then they proceed using blue®m to prevent it happening again.” according to Nathalie Beck, Managing Director at the company. “When the dental professionals confirm the patient’s stories in the chair and give them positive remarks on the development of their gums, then the loop is closed, which is brilliant in my opinion.”

The fact that a small company beats big brands five years in a row has not only to do with customer loyalty, it is the quality of the products that makes the difference. “As a quality manager I’m very concerned with the quality of our products,” says Klaas-Bart Teune. He continues: “True to our mission, we double down on what’s essential and cut out superfluous elements. We have selected the best ingredients nature offers, like lactoferrin, a powerful protein we call the immunity booster, xylitol from birch bark which is effective against the streptococcus mutans bacteria and organic honey, also known to be an ancient medicine. We have left out SLS, microplastics and fluoride, because there are enough body-friendly substitutes in this product that do the trick. Only the best is good enough for our clients.”
