Bluem's products have made my daughter's life a little more bearable in the last three months.

Silvia Verhoef, an employee at Dental Center Abcoude, lost her 26-year-old daughter Manon to cancer a few years ago. An oral hygienist working in the same practice as Silvia advised Manon at the time to use blue®m products against the complaints in her mouth. In this article Silvia shares with us her story about this difficult period of illness of her daughter.

“It was saturday, October 28, 2017. My husband and I were married that day for 30 years. We were going to celebrate that night with family, but Manon didn’t feel very well that day. And that was strange, Manon was absolutely not a whiner and she lived very healthy and sports a lot. Complaints such as tightness of the chest and chest pain were reasons to take her to the doctor’s office. The doctor almost immediately referred her to the emergency room. There a lung picture and a scan were made. This showed that there was a kind of mass and a lot of fluid behind her lungs. What exactly it was, we didn’t know at that moment. The fluid was pumped away, as it were, so that the tightness of Manon’s chest for a while diminished, but the fluid kept coming back. But what was the mass behind her chest?”

Further investigation brought us the answer. After a few days in the hospital we were told that it might be lymphoma. At that moment your world is collapsing. And as if that news wasn’t bad enough, a few days later it turned out to be another special and incurable cancer form, a NUT tumor. But good hope remains and Manon was the positivity himself. The chemo treatments were started. An oral hygienist who works in our practice advised Manon to use blue®m at the time. Because of chemo, your immune system does not work properly and there is a good chance that inflammation will occur in your mouth. She said that blue®m works very well for cancer patients in particular, because it can remedy or even prevent inflammation.

So to speak, and that was a very good choice. Manon has had the toughest chemo treatments, but fortunately never had any problems with her mouth, so she was able to enjoy good food until her last day. And more importantly, there was no inflammation. Because when you have inflamed gums as a cancer patient, sometimes no chemo treatments can be performed because the resistance is too bad. The oxygen fluid and toothpaste from blue®m have worked great for three months. The chemo, on the other hand, didn’t work that well. Manon died on January 22, 2018.

Een ion, Manon is the proof for me and for Dental Centre Abcoude that blue®m really works. In the beginning I found it difficult to recommend blue®m, because I only had experience with Manon. Now I recommend it to everyone, especially cancer patients, because I hear and see how much good it does for them.
