What is the blue®m Poster Contest?
The blue®m Poster Contest is a competition where dental professionals present scientific research, case studies, or other findings related to blue®m oral care products. Participants create detailed posters showcasing their work, in the 3 categories Research, Case Report or Photography. The finalists are recognized and rewarded by blue®m, offering them a platform to share their insights with a global audience of dental experts and a VIP trip to EuroPerio11 in Vienna, Austria on 14-17 May 2025.

Scientific research
All dental professionals or students can present their clinical research which demonstrates the use of blue®m. You must create a detailed poster showcasing your work, that includes an original scientific research which has an application to oxygen therapy with blue®m.

It’s also possible to present a case report or case series which has an application to oxygen therapy with blue®m. You must create a detailed poster showcasing your work, that includes an original case report or series which has an application to oxygen therapy with blue®m.

Photography contest
And if you want to capture a dental procedure or treatment through photography using blue®m products, you can also enter the contest. The work must correspond to clinical work, artistic photography, lines of research and work developed in the field of dentistry in general.

Which prizes to win?
6 finalists* (2 finalists per category) will be selected and invited as VIP to the blue®m booth at the EuroPerio11 Exhibition, May 2025 edition in Vienna, and will present their submission there for the final judgement from the international scientific board of blue®m. There will only be 1 ultimate winner per category.
VIP treatment to EuroPerio11

*In case of a submission by a team: only the main author from each of the category finalists will be invited.

How to participate?
Each participant (individual or team) creates detailed posters showcasing their work, in the 3 categories Research, Case Report or Photography. The posters will be assessed by the international blue®m scientific board and will be judged on content, scientific value and creativity.
The poster or photograph must demonstrate one of these options:
- Original scientific research which has an application to oxygen therapy with blue®m
- A clinical case report / case series or photograph which demonstrates the use of blue®m (in any topic, there will be no separate categories)
Any dental clinician (professional or researcher) can sign up. Only 1 entry per clinician. Participating is free of costs.

After you’ve successfully been enrolled to the competition, a confirmation is sent to you by email. You’ll now be part of the group of progressive professionals and you will receive a frequent newsletter with exclusive content and tips from leading dental professionals!
How does this contest work?
The contest consists of various stages:
Stage 1: Fill in the application form on the blue®m website. A confirmation is sent to you by e-mail and you’ll receive an e-Poster template or regulations for the photography contest.
Stage 2: Submit your work before March 1, 2025 by uploading the Poster with Scientific research, Case report, or Photograph in the appropriate format to the blue®m website.
Stage 3: Assessment, rating and selection of finalists by the international scientific board of blue®m. The members of the jury will review the top submissions and select 2 finalists per category, who will be invited to come to EuroPerio11 May 2025 edition in Vienna.*
Stage 4: Award ceremony at EuroPerio11 (finalist will give an oral presentation in booth before the final decision).
Meet the judges
Minas Leventis
President of the blue®m board
Dr. Leventis holds a PhD (2010) and an MSc (2004) in Oral Surgery from the Dental School of University of Athens, Greece. In 2008 he also attended a post-graduate program in Periodontics and Implantology at the University of Heidelberg, Germany. Leventis is currently on the Faculty of the Dental School, University of Athens as a Visiting Clinical Instructor and Researcher, where he teaches under and post-graduate students Exodontia, Oral Surgery, Bone Grafting and Implantology, while undertaking extensive experimental research. Dr. Leventis has been invited to lecture extensively throughout the world on a variety of scientific topics in Oral Surgery. He is the author of numerous scientific articles published in international peer reviewed journals like Journal of Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery, TripleO, Implant Dentistry, Clinical Oral Investigations, Compendium and EDI Journal. Based in central London his private work and clinical research are focused on Oral Surgery, Tissue Engineering and Implant Dentistry.
Tatiana Miranda Deliberador
blue®m board member
Tatiana Miranda Deliberador, DDS / MSc and PhD in Periodontics, is Professor of Latin American Institute of Dental Research and Education – ILAPEO, Curitiba/PR, Brazil. She is Coordinator of the Specialization Course in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry and is professor of Master’s and Doctoral courses at ILAPEO College. She works in her private practice in Periodontology and Oral Implantology. Dr. Deliberador has worked on more than 150 scientific articles in the field of Dental Surgery and Periodontology. With her case report ‘Pocket reduction within 30 days with blue®m oral gel’, she won the blue®m case report competition in 2019 and received thE blue®m Key Opinion Leader Award.
Irfan Abas
blue®m board member
Irfan Abas, just graduated as a specialist in Implant and Restorative Dentistry 3 years ago, but has already done more than 20 lectures, workshops and a live-surgery course on 4 continents. As editor for the Dutch dental magazine Tandartsprakijk (Springer media) he published 8 articles and edited many more. His first publication was in 2014 with professor Gert Meijer (Radboud UMC Nijmegen), who was his program director of the 4-year postgraduate program in Reconstructive Dentistry in Nijmegen, which Abas finished with honors in 2014. Since 2019 he started the Abas Implant Academy, which is a full Oral Surgery & Implantology program in the Netherlands. As a MINEC Knight for MegaGen Implant Company he gives many lectures on Implant & Restorative Dentistry. Besides these engagements, Irfan Abas works in his private practice near Amsterdam as a recognized specialist in Implant & Restorative Dentistry.
Alberto Miselli
blue®m board member
After graduating at the Universidad Central de Venezuela in 1980, Dr. Miselli studied at the University of Michigan (USA) for a Basic Oral Rehabilitation Fellowship. He got a specialty of Implantologist at CEYESOV (Center for Odontological Studies and Specializations in Veracriz Mexico). Dr. Miselli is Professor in the Master of Dental Implants at Santa Maria University in Caracas, Venezuela. He is an International Speaker of theoretical and practical courses in Implantology and Supported Implant Prosthesis. Besides that, he is a frequent lecturer and guest professor at dental schools and universities throughout South America. Dr. Miselli is also developer of the innovative Umbrella Concept: “It is the conjunction of concepts on the management of soft tissues around implants, three-dimensionally, to achieve the aesthetics of soft tissues with the preservation of the marginal bone crest over time”. He teaches the Umbrello Concept to dental professionals in courses all over the world.
Ajay Kakar
blue®m board member
Dr. Ajay Kakar is periodontist and implantologist, in his private practice in Mumbai. He is a Past President of the International Academy of Periodontology, the Past President of the IAACD and a member of the Extended Board of the European Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He had done his certification as a Smylist Dentist and extensively teaches the Smylist concept along with Dr. Maria Csillag. Ajay extensively presents on Periodontology, Implantology, Aesthetic Dentistry, Aligner Orthodontics, Dental Photography, Practice Management, Information Management and Association Management. Synonymous with electronic science, he has exploited his understanding of computers effectively to blend it into the dental arena. He is the CEO of BITEIN, his creations over a decade ago and is the fore runner of the Internet and Indian dentistry. Lecturing extensively around the globe allows dr. Kakar to fulfill his passion: to teach, travel and taste.
Hamdan Alghamdi
blue®m board member
Prof. Alghamdi graduated with a bachelor’s degree in dentistry from King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and completed his master’s degree and clinical training in periodontology and oral implantology at the same University. He has published all his PhD research in top ISI-journals in the field of biomaterials and tissue engineering related to oral implantology. His PhD-thesis was also included In 2013, his PhD-thesis was included in the Radboud University Annual Report as best representative research-project for the theme ‘Reconstructive and regenerative medicine’. He is currently still affiliated as a visiting researcher at the Department of Biomaterials and Oral Implantology in Radboud University Medical Center, Nijmegen in The Netherlands. Moreover, in 2019, he published a book in collaboration with Prof Jansen, named: “Dental Implants and Bone Grafts: Materials and Biological Issues”.
